Following ratification by CENELEC of both of the IEC documents in mid 2000, BSI published both BS EN 61340-5-1 and BS EN 61340-5-2 in mid 2001.These two BS ENs, whilst being technically identical to the original IEC documents, superseded the previous versions of the documents and EN100015-1, and are mandatory in the UK.
